Team Structure & Roles
Three Distinct Participant Roles
Event Host
Master of Ceremonies & Presenter Screen
Creates room → Configures teams → Shares room code → Controls game flow → Concludes event
If the Host exits after starting the event, a 15-second claim window opens allowing Captains or Players to claim the Host role. If no one claims Host within 15 seconds, the event session automatically terminates.
Team Captain
Designated Team Spokesperson & Submitter
Joins room → Claims or assigned Captain slot → Debates with teammates → Submits final answers
If a Captain leaves, the Captain slot becomes open. Any active team member can claim the Captain slot to resume submissions.
Team Member
Collaborator, Debater & Live Voter
Enters room code → Selects team → Debates with teammates → Votes on live polls
If a player leaves or closes their browser, their connection drops. Teammates continue playing without interruption.
